Ruhul Abid, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Rhode Island Hospital and Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School. After completion of a Fellowship in Vascular Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in 2001, Dr. He joined Brown University Alpert Medical School in 2011 and established his vascular biology lab at the CVRC of Rhode Island Hospital. His nonprofit organization Health and Education for All (HAEFA) were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, by University of Massachusetts Boston.
