STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It is an educational program developed to prepare primary and secondary students for college, graduate study and careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM education combines these four fields to strengthen students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. The STEM curriculum was developed in the United States to teach students about these subjects in an interdisciplinary and applied approach so that they can solve real-world problems in an innovative and efficient manner.
